Using Your Mapping Table in Quoting and Demand Management

After uploading your mapping table, you can create a demand template that uses mapping table data to populate specific Demand Management fields.

Navigate to your demand templates in Demand Management:

From the Demand Templates page, create a new template or edit an existing one.

Once you're creating or editing a template, you can add a new column that populates based on your mapping table data.

Create a new column, then open the Populating tab. See the example below for the setup.

In this example, we're configuring a Demand Management project to populate a custom column called STD Cost using a preselected Demand Management template.

For the example, for the Data Source field, we're selecting Lookup Table.

For Lookup Table, we're selecting Mapping Table.

In the Mapping Table field, select the uploaded file you want to use. In this example, the selected mapping table is Test Table 1.

For Populate with Column, we select STD Cost to populate that value from the mapping table into your Demand Management project.

For Where Column, select IPN/CPN so the Demand Management project matches against the corresponding column in the mapping table.

For Is Equal to Template Column, select the matching template column you want to compare against.

Once these fields are selected, and you upload your Demand Management project, you'll see your custom column auto populate with the expected values from your Mapping Table.
