Decimals in Quantities

You can upload or add quantities in a BOM or demand using decimals. Supplyframe supports decimals up to 5 places in the Quantity field of your list.

This feature is especially useful for non-electronic components, such as resins or metals where quantities in decimals are used.

For example, a list may require .35 lbs of resin or 1.65 of metal. Here's how the quantities then would be displayed:

  • Uploading 1.0000 will be displayed as 1
  • Uploading 2 - will be displayed as 2
  • Uploading 1.123456789 will be rounded to 5 max decimals supported, displaying as 1.12346

Decimals in Calculations

Calculations on Responses and Review & Implement tabs are rounded up to the five decimals. The following columns are where decimals are adjusted at the line level. Aggregations of these at the RFQ level or Supplier level are displayed in two decimal places.
