Internal Assignments can be used in Quoting once an admin has uploaded an Internal Assignment matrix through the Reference Tables option in the top navigation bar. Only one Internal Assignment matrix can exist at a time. There is the ability to assign manually if needed instead. More information is available in the Internal Assignments article.

To upload a new Internal Assignment matrix, you will first need to remove any existing Internal Assignment List. Check the box of your file and then click on Remove. It will ask, "Are you sure..." and click on Remove to complete.

To add your new Internal Assignment list, click on Upload Document.

Select your file from your computer and map its columns. An assignment matrix example includes: Category, Sourcing Level, Supplier, Assignee Name and Assignee Email. When done with your mapping, click on Upload to finish.

You can edit existing individual lines in your Internal Assignment List as needed by clicking any editable cells. Type in your changes within the cell and hit Enter to save your modifications.

You can also download an Excel file of your Internal Assignment List by clicking on Export.

Being an Assignee in the RFQ grants a member different rights depending on how it’s set up in your company’s Permissions for that Member/Team. To check what rights are enabled for a specific team, hover over your profile icon and click Permissions. Scrolling to the right, you’ll see which options have been turned on for each "Team" in “Quoting”.
