Ignore Requested Manufacturer’s Cost Settings
The Requested Manufacturer Settings now include three options. The previously default setting has become one of the three options you can select and is identified as the default selected option.
The three options provided are:
- Prioritize Req. Manufacturer (default) - the system will first look across all active price sources to identify a Manufacturer matching the Requested Manufacturer. If no match is identified, then another Manufacturer will be selected.
- Requested Manufacturer Only (pre-existing functionality) - only parts where the Manufacturer matches the Requested Manufacturer will be priced. Otherwise, a Manufacturer will still be selected, but the line will be left unpriced. Even when checked, if pricing is by the IPN/CPN, then the Requested Manufacturer is ignored.
- Ignore Req. Manufacturer - the Requested Manufacturer is not considered for the purpose of pricing. When checked, if the Requested Manufacturer exists on a line, then it will be ignored for the purpose of selecting a supplier option.
Aliases are continuing to be used with these settings. All other costing rules still apply, based on your selected IPN/MPN matching and price source rules.
Record Manufacturer from alternates in Part Master as Req. Manufacturer in BOM
In this new feature, when using alternates or Part Master to populate MPNs or other details, then the Manufacturer assigned for line items will be considered a Requested Manufacturer. This will continue through to the RFQ if you select the “Requested Manufacturer” option.
Quoting
Apply 100% Ref Quota Option for Ref. Pricing from PO
When Ref. Pricing is applied from POs, then the Quota is brought into the RFQ. When PO data is used as the Ref. Pricing source, and is missing the Quota, you will have the option to automatically assign quotas to a line. This will enable any savings calculations dependent on the Ref. Quota to still be computed.
When “Apply 100% Ref. Quota” is checked for a group, Supplyframe will assign 100% Ref. Quota to lines that have a Ref. Price, but are missing a Ref. Quota. This is done at the group level. The IPN, Plant, and Subcontractor are considered a group combination. Each unique group will get one of the lines in the group assigned the 100% Ref. Quota.
If multiple Ref. Prices exist in a group of IPN, Plant, and Subcontractor, then 100% Ref. Quota will be applied to the lowest price. When they all have the same price, then any of them will be selected. If the Ref. Quota exists on a line, then it will not be overwritten for the group.
Supplier Level RFQ Locking and Unlocking
This feature enables Buyers to lock an RFQ after working within it, thereby restricting a supplier from editing the quote. Buyers can toggle on the RFQ lock for each supplier. This sends a notification to that specific supplier that their RFQ was marked as completed by the Buyer.
System Enhancements
Implemented Anti Virus Scans for Uploads
All uploaded files will be scanned in the background for potential viruses. If Supplyframe's anti-virus service detects potential viruses during an upload, then you will see an error displayed: “File(s) you are trying to upload might contain a virus. Please check the file(s) and re-upload.”
You will not be able to proceed with the RFQ process until this has been fixed and the re-uploaded files have passed the anti-virus check.
Part Master and Templates History
This feature provides enhanced audit trails for Part Master, Part Categories, and Demand Templates, ensuring that critical data changes are tracked for greater oversight. Changes to Part Master, Part Categories, and Demand Templates, are logged in the following format:
- User who made the change
- Description of the change (including both old and new values)
- Date and time of change
When wanting to see the different historical audit trails, you can access them accordingly:
- To view the Part Master History, navigate to the specific part number and click on the History button in the sub-menu.
- For the Part Category History, navigate to the specific part category and click on the History button in the sub-menu.
- To see the Demand Template History, navigate to the specific demand template and click on the History button in the sub-menu.
Preserve Session State on Inactivity Logout
To enhance your experience and productivity, this feature preserves your session state upon an inactivity logout. This functionality ensures you are redirected to the exact page you were working on before being automatically logged out due to inactivity. By implementing session tracking, this feature minimizes work interruptions and improves overall satisfaction.
This update will help save you time by eliminating the need to manually navigate back to your last working page, streamlining your workflow and enhancing the application’s usability.
UX Table Improvements
The following improvements have been made for working with responses in tables, which include:
-
Entering Edit Mode
You can single-click or tap on a cell to enter edit mode and modify its contents directly. Alternatively, if the cell is already selected, any numerical or alphabetic character stroke can be inputted into the cell. -
Overriding Content
If the cell already has content, then any new content will override what was previously in the cell. -
Editing Content
You can input new text and numbers directly into the cell. Also, you can utilize keyboard shortcuts for text editing, such as Ctrl+C for copying, Ctrl+X for cutting, and Ctrl+V for pasting. -
Double Click Edit
Double-clicking on cell contents without overriding previous content provides functionality to move between characters with arrow keys. Then press Enter or Tab, or click away, to save changes. -
Exiting Edit Mode
To exit edit mode and save the changes made within the cell:
- Press the Enter key on the keyboard
- Press the Tab Key on the keyboard
- Click away from the cell

Reports
Supplier Performance Report
The Suppliers Performance report provides admins with an overall suppliers performance comparison. The report includes the functionality to measure the On-Time, Cycle Time, and Competitiveness for each supplier as seen in the summary and with details for each part. This allows category managers to review analytics specific to how their suppliers are performing in their RFQs and provide accurate information for formulating supplier report cards.
You can access the Suppliers Performance report page from the Reports dropdown in the top navigation bar. It is also accessible from the Supplier and Supplier Intelligence pages.
In the Create A Report left sidebar you can set a date range for supplier RFQ activity, and can be based on: Month, Quarter, Year, or Custom. Next, select the RFQs and suppliers from which you want to pull the data. These can be selected individually by quote and supplier, or use the "Select All" option. Then click on Submit generate the results.
The report results contain the following functionality:
- A summary box displaying: a list of the chosen RFQs, suppliers selected, and the report's generated timeframe.
- A report table, with a clickable Supplier Name (1st column), displaying as available:
- RFQs - the number of RFQs assigned to the supplier within the selected date range.
- On Time (%) - the number of items where the "Submit Date" is before the "Due Date", and then its percentage. (When there are multiple supplier submit dates, it will check for the date of the last submission.)
- Late (%) - the number of items where "Submit Date" is after its "Due Date", and then its percentage.
- No Response - the number of items where "Price 1" is missing and not marked as "No bid".
- Items - the number of items assigned to the supplier within that selected date range.
- Bids - the number of items where the supplier entered a "Price 1".
-
Completeness - the number of items that have a "Price 1" or "No bid" selected /
the number of all items * 100. -
Average Response (Days) - how many days passed between the supplier being notified of the RFQ and when they Submitted items / Total items.
- You can export the report table in XLXs.
- Click on a desired supplier to drill down. When a supplier is clicked into, then you will see a summary box for that particular supplier's data split into two segments: RFQ Performance and BID Performance.
- Assigned RFQs Qty - the sum of all "Qty1" items in the selected RFQs.
- On Time, Late, No Response, Completeness, & Average Response Days - these are the same as in the previous table, but this display takes into account only the data from selected RFQs.
- Total Assigned MPNs - the total number of MPNs in the selected RFQs.
- Total Assigned CPNs - the total number of unique CPNs in the selected RFQs.
- Total Bid MPN - the number of MPNs where "Price 1" exists in the selected RFQs.
-
Total Bid CPN - the number of unique CPNs that have a "Price 1" in the selected RFQs.
- Below the summary, you will see the detailed supplier's performance by RFQ in the report table.
