When working within Supplyframe, you can click into cells as available to modify the applicable fields. This article will go over the different modes and functionalities.
Entering Edit Mode
Click or tap on a cell to enter edit mode and modify its contents directly. Alternatively, if the cell is already selected, then any numerical or alphabetic character stroke will input information into the cell.
Overriding Content
If the cell already has content, then any new content entered into the field will override whatever was previously within the cell.
Editing Contents
To edit a cell's content, type in your new text or numbers directly into the field. You can also utilize keyboard shortcuts for text editing, such as: Ctrl+C for copying, Ctrl+X for cutting, and Ctrl+V for pasting.
Double Click Edit
You can double click on a cell to edit its existing content without overriding. This enables the functionality as well to move between characters by using your keyboard's arrow keys. Then press Enter or Tab or click away to save any changes.
Exiting Edit Mode
To exit edit mode and save the changes made to the cell, you can use any of the following options:
- Press the Enter key on the keyboard.
- Press the Tab key on the keyboard.
- Click away from the cell.
- Press the arrow keys to move to a different cell.
Alternatively, you can press the Esc key on the keyboard to discard any changes and exit edit mode without saving.
