You can easily upload a new demand file into Demand Management from the dashboard. From your dashboard, click on Add a New Demand on the right side of the page to upload your file.
On the Demand Upload page in the Settings tab, click on the browse button in the Select File section to choose a file to upload. You will then choose from the dropdown a Template for Validation. When there’s multiple worksheets or tabs within the file, select the specific Sheet that you want to upload.
The demand's Name is automatically titled with your file name, but can be modified in its text field. Decide if you want to file your demand into a specific project folder through the Select Parent Folder by clicking on the appropriate folder. You can add a Description if desired, though it is optional.
Click on Next: Mapping to continue with your demand upload. You will need to map your columns to your selected template’s columns for validation. As you map your columns, the appropriate fields will be filled in with your data. Green headers are mapped columns that only need to be verified and blue headers are unmapped columns. The name below the dropdown is the column header as titled within your file. The dropdown shows the available column fields to be mapped to as a column’s data destination.
Those with an orange "R" are required columns and those with a "P" are populated columns. If you map a column with a "P" icon, then it could result in data being overwritten when a match is also found matching the populating rules. You can map multiple quantity breaks depending on admin settings, but multipliers are not available. Make sure you scroll all the way to the right when mapping in case you need to map additional fields.
When you're done, click on Save at the bottom to finish uploading your new demand file.
Note: The maximum amount of line items accepted via file upload is 100,000.
