The Status functionality in your demand helps you to easily see the progress of your list as you’re working it within Demand Management. You can change your demand's status from the default of In Progress, to Ready for Review, or Ready for RFQ.
Click on the Status button in the top toolbar to see your demand's status options. Within the Change Status modal, use the Select Status options to make your choice for this list's current status.
- IN PROGRESS - Default demand status after upload.
- READY FOR REVIEW - Once your demand is completed, you can change the status as ready to be reviewed. This status is informational to indicate that another role can now review the file, such as a commodity manager.
- READY FOR RFQ - This status is to identify that no further work is needed on the demand and it is ready to be pulled into an RFQ. The demand is locked at this point for editing purposes.
Then click on Change to apply your new demand's status. The demand's status will show within the list itself to the right of the name.
You can also view the Status column on your Demand Management dashboard.
As needed, you can change a demand's Status from the dashboard. Select the demand(s) that you want to update and click on Change Status.
Within the modal, use the Change Status options to choose a new demand status. Then click on Change to apply.
However, please be aware that you can't change the status to "Ready for RFQ" if the system detects duplicate lines still in the list. The modal window will display an error if your demand still has duplicates and which list(s).
You will be prompted to resolve the duplicates by either adding up the quantities of duplicates (consolidate) or removing the duplicates. Your settings for how it checks for duplicates across multiple columns is as selected in the Template Settings.
