You can use the AI Search field to filter your BOMs. This enhances your experience by integrating a feature that allows you to filter and search BOM line items using natural language. This feature leverages a Large Language Model (LLM) to understand and process human-like queries, providing accurate and relevant results based on your input. No new filters are added as the AI serves as a shortcut, providing a better experience for utilizing existing filtering capabilities.
To open the AI Search Filter field, click on the AI icon to the right of the general Search field.
Queries are not case sensitive, though spacing or a dot in the sentence will count as separate queries. For example, the query of “Show me all xrefs” is different from “Show me all xrefs.” (note the period at the end of the request) and will be counted as a separate query.
The queries in a BOM can be accessed by any team members within that BOM and cached responses will be available for future reference. You will see the applied AI filter above your line items. To remove a filter, click on the X next to the filter's name.
Note: There is a limit of 100 queries and you will be provided with appropriate messaging upon reaching this limit.
