You can manage your Members (users) access within Supplyframe by using Teams (group/role) and configuring each team's Permissions. When your licensed Members are placed into Teams, you can control which modules they can view and what information they can edit through its Permissions.
The Permissions page and these tabs are accessed by hovering over your profile icon and clicking on Organization from the dropdown.
Members
On the All Members tab of the Organization page, you can see a list of all your "Members" (users), search through them, and add new members. You'll see listed for each user their Member Email, the Type (Owner/Member/Admin), number of Teams they belong to, and option to remove.
Clicking on +Add New Member opens the modal to enter a new user’s Member Email Address and then click Add Member to save.
Until a new user accepts the invitation, they will show as a status Type of "Pending". As needed, you can click on Resend Request in case the invitation went to a spam folder. Once confirmed, you can change the new user's Type through the dropdown to either: Admin or Member.
Click on the Remove trash can to the far right of a member's email when needing to delete a user. When there's files currently owned by the user you want to remove, you'll need to choose a new owner using the Reassign documents to another user dropdown. Then click on Continue to finish.
Also, you can easily see which teams a member is a part of by clicking on the member's Team dropdown. This will display which teams that members are assigned to in Supplyframe. This helps in verifying they have the correct assigned permission via the teams.
Teams
Teams are the main way for admins to control permissions. Your administrative access to Teams allows you to define for a specific permission role (known as a “Team”) its unique functions, screens, or actions that are permitted/denied. Each and every licensed user will be assigned to a team role in which they inherit the specific capabilities of that team.
Within the Teams tab, you will see the Team Name, count of Members, the Created Date and under the far right column the "Remove" trash icon. You can use the search field to find a specific team as needed and the column headers arrows to sort in ascending/descending.
Manage Team Members
Clicking on a Team Name will take you to that specific team's page where you can see all of its existing Members. Within a team, you'll see the Member Email, Type of user (Member/Admin), and the "Remove" trash can icon to the far right of a member's name.
Add Team Members
You can assign additional existing Members to a Team by clicking on +Add Team Member. Within the Add New Member modal, enter in the new Member Email Address and then click on Add Member.
When adding Members, they will be invited to use Supplyframe. When users have not accepted the invitation yet to start using Supplyframe, then they will show with a status of "Pending" on the Members page. However, you can still add "Pending" users to a team. Then once logged in they'll immediately have the appropriate level of access and privileges of that team. When needed, click on the refresh arrow icon to the far right to resend the invitation.
Remove Team Members
Click on the trash can to the far right if needing to delete a member from a specific team. It will ask "Are you sure you want to remove this user from team?" Click on Delete to confirm and finish.
Create Teams
To create a new team, within the Teams tab click on Create New Team in the upper left of the screen. This will open the modal for you to create it.
The Create New Team modal will appear where you can enter in a Team Name, and include an optional Team Description. Your team will then be created after clicking on Create Team, and you'll be able to make additional teams as needed.
When you’re done creating all your new teams, click on the X in the top-right of the box to close the Create New Team modal.
Edit Teams
To edit a Team's name, click into the team to view its page. Then click on Team Settings. This will open the side modal to modify its name and description.
After you've entered your changes, click on Save to complete.
Permissions
In the Permissions tab, you can assign and edit what permissions that each team has and for what module. On the left side vertically you will see each team, and then to the right horizontally the modules and their respective Permissions. Check or uncheck the different boxes to set their corresponding rights.
The blue "?" next to a permissions's name will provide more details when hovering over the icon. The following permissions are available:
