Upload for Mass Edits in RFQ

For mass edits in Quoting, you can import data into the RFQ via the Upload feature on the Assignments, Responses, and Review & Implement pages.

In order to upload, you will first have to export the RFQ. A Row ID is included in the downloaded RFQ and is used to match lines during the upload.

Fields that are editable in the RFQ (per the rules of a specific page) are able to be updated via the upload. Wherever a “Row ID” match is found, then the fields of that row are updated accordingly. When the data is not acceptable per the constraints of a field, then those specific fields won't be updated.

However, the incomplete uploads are accepted (such as when missing rows or missing columns), since the data is not deleted. If a “Row ID” is missing from the upload, then no change will take place. In order to ensure updates are made when using the upload, the “Row ID” column should not be deleted.

Note: The "Upload Assignments" button's functionality on the RFQ: Assignments page is based on fields editable at that step. Supplier Assignments and Internal Assignments can not be uploaded with this button.
