BOM Insight & Sourcing

Order PCNs by Manufacturer Issue Date

What is it? - PCNs shown in the side panel are now ordered by Manufacturer Issue Date, with the most recent PCNs displayed first

Where can I find it? - You'll find this when clicking into the Part Intelligence icon for a specific part, and then clicking the 'PCN' tab in the right-side panel.

Why do I need this? - You can immediately see the most recent and most relevant change notices without scanning older PCNs - especially important for lifecycle, compliance, and obsolescence reviews.

Quoting

Bulk Upload for Tags in System Settings

What is it? - Admins can now upload tags in bulk from an Excel file (including selecting the sheet to import), making it faster to set up and maintain tagging at scale.

Where can I find it? - As an admin, you'll be able to do your bulk upload via System Settings, and then in the 'Suppliers Tags' page:

Why do I need this? - Teams can standardize and roll out tagging quickly (especially for larger supplier bases) without manual tag-by-tag setup.

How does it work? - Navigate to the Supplier Tags page, and then click 'Upload Tags' to add your file.

Supplier Management: Supplier & Contact Permissions

What is it? - Two new permissions — Edit Suppliers and Edit Contacts — will now allow admins to delegate supplier management and contact management to non-admins without granting full admin access.

Where can I find it? - As an admin, you can access this permission under the 'Role Permissions' page

Why do I need this? - Removes the admin bottleneck for day-to-day supplier data maintenance. Teams can self-serve on routine updates while admins retain control over bulk operations and system-level settings.

How does it work? - Enabling this permission for a Role will allow all users within that role to edit suppliers and contacts.

Reporting & Dashboards

Period-Based RFQs in Quote History & Costed BOM

What is it? - Quote History and Costed BOM reports have been updated to correctly handle RFQs that use Periods, ensuring dates and costs are displayed consistently and accurately.

Where can I find it? - You'll find this in your Quote History and costed BOM Reports under the Reports dashboard. Both reports can be accessed via the left-hand side panel menu.

Why do I need this? - If you're using period-based RFQs, you can now rely on Quote History and Costed BOM reports for accurate date context and cost analysis, without manual reconciliation or confusion caused by missing fields.

How does it work? - RFQs with periods now display any period-related date information. Unit Cost has been added to QH and is calculated across multiple quantity breaks and periods.

Supplier Portal

Improved Error Handling for RFQ Upload

What is it? - Suppliers can now export only error rows from an RFQ upload and see exactly what failed, eliminating the need to cross-reference the original file against the web UI.

Where can I find it? - After an upload with errors, suppliers will see a new notice that there was an issue, and instructions on fixing:

Why do I need this? - Suppliers can resolve upload errors entirely offline in a single export-fix-reupload cycle instead of switching between their spreadsheet and the web interface.

How does it work? - Suppliers will be able to use the RFQ filter to show only error items, and then export on those error items.

Improvements

Preserve manufacturer name from AML uploads

What is it? - We've adjusted AML to preserve your manufacturer name when uploading and preserved when adding alternates via AML.

Where can I find it? - When uploading your AML and in your exports.

Why do I need this? - Prevents confusing manufacturer renames across AML, exports, and alternates—improving trust and traceability.

Track Supplier Performance and BOM Comparison Report Runs in Audit Log

What is it? - Implemented usage tracking for Supplier Performance and BOM Comparison reports in the audit log, capturing metrics like the number of RFQs/BOMs viewed and selected filters.

Where can I find it? - You'll see this update in your audit logs

Why do I need this? - Gain insight into how customers use reports to identify what should be surfaced in higher-level dashboards and where data or presentation improvements are needed.

Agents

New Sourcing Agent Action: Send to RFQ

What is it? - A new Sourcing Agent action has been added to send line items meeting specific rule criteria to RFQ.

Where can I find it? - Admins can setup this new agent action in their system settings.

Why do I need this? - This Agent action marks the first action to span modules and business workflows by directly connecting Sourcing project work to the Quoting process. As Agent capability is extended to Quoting in the future, Agent-to-Agent collaboration and multi-step automation will be increasingly enabled.

How does it work? - If line items from a Sourcing project are being pushed to Quoting for the first time, a placeholder RFQ will be created.  The first user to access the RFQ project may update and add project settings as needed.
